Mold Water Tank Rehabilitation with Fiberglass Reinforcement

RAK Industrial Services completed a full rehabilitation of a mold water tank experiencing coating failure, water intrusion, and structural deterioration. The project involved abrasive blasting, fiberglass reinforcement, structural repairs, and the application of a high-performance protective coating system designed to restore tank integrity, improve long-term durability, and extend the operational life of the asset.

The Problem

An industrial facility was experiencing significant deterioration inside a large process tank due to failing coatings, difficult surface conditions, and structural concerns. Thick existing coatings, floor movement, water intrusion, and internal obstructions created challenging conditions that required a durable rehabilitation solution.

The Solution

RAK Industrial Services completed a full tank rehabilitation involving abrasive blasting, fiberglass reinforcement, structural repairs, and application of a high-performance protective coating system. Despite challenging access and confined space conditions, the project was completed safely and efficiently to restore tank integrity and extend service life.
