In-Service Acid Leak Repair on Tank and Valve Assembly

RAK addressed an active acid leak on a tank wall and bottom valve assembly by applying a corrosion-resistant composite repair system. The repair fully sealed the leak, restored structural integrity, and allowed the facility to continue operating safely without downtime.

The Problem

An active acid leak on a tank wall and bottom valve assembly created immediate risk to personnel, equipment, and production. Shutting the system down was not an option.

The Solution

RAK sealed the leak and reinforced the affected areas using a corrosion-resistant composite repair system. The repair eliminated leakage, restored asset integrity, and allowed the customer to continue operating safely without unplanned downtime.
