Position Description: RAK is looking to hire a driven professional for a multi-function role. The ideal candidate will be a college grad and be willing to travel from Columbus to NE Ohio area occasionally. The candidate will work alongside our Senior PM while learning the industry and assisting in project direction, planning, completion, estimating and financial outcome. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills. THIS POSITION REQUIRES TRAVEL TO SURROUNDING STATES IE; INDIANA, PENNSYLVANIA, MICHIGAN, KENTUCKY, NEW YORK, WEST VIRGINIA, ILLINOIS, ETC. IF YOU ARE NOT OK WITH THIS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all project documentation
• Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
• Assist with estimation and bidding process
• Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Sales background a plus
• MILITARY EXPERIENCE A PLUS

Your expertise and knowledge in an industrial painting role will give you the skills to shine working for RAK Industrial Services. This is a hands-on role where every day may give you the opportunity to show case a different skill. Your day may include: Sand blasting anything from steel girders to industry tanks, working within an enclosed or tight environment applying chemicals to seal an industrial leak, utilizing state of the art techniques within the following industries: Steel, Power Generation, Water Treatment, Chemical Process in addition to many others. This is a highly visible, hands-on role that based upon your skills could lead to additional responsibilities.
Qualifications:

• Reside in a commutable range to Northeast, Ohio or Midwest, Indiana.
• Take direction and willingness to learn.

• Experience in industrial equipment painting and process piping.
• Experience with blasting and all types of blasting media; sand, black beauty, glass bead, etc.
• Ability to gauge millage application and document with the use of a millage tester
• Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
• Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment

Position Description: Tank Inspector

We are expanding our service offerings and adding Tank Inspection Services to support our current work on industrial linings, coatings, and leak repair. We are actively seeking a skilled and certified Tank Inspector to help us launch and grow this division. This is a unique opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to build something from the ground up with the full support of an experienced, reputable team.

The Tank Inspector will be responsible for conducting compliance inspections on aboveground storage tanks (ASTs) located in industrial facilities such as steel mills, refineries, and chemical plants. This includes both internal and external inspections to assess safety, structural integrity, and environmental compliance under EPA SPCC regulations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform STI SP001 inspections on shop-fabricated and small field-erected tanks (up to ~300,000 gallons).

• Conduct API 653 inspections on large field-erected tanks.

• Prepare clear, detailed inspection reports and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance.

• Support implementation of facility SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) plans.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to coordinate inspections efficiently and safely.

• Travel to various job sites as needed to complete inspections in the field.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current STI SP001 certification (required)

• Current API 653 certification (required)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tank inspections

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA confined space entry protocols

• Experience working in heavy industrial environments (mills, plants, refineries)

• A self-starter with the ability to help build and grow an inspection service offering

• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills

• Willingness to travel as required for fieldwork
