24-Inch Blast Furnace Gas Pipe Rehabilitation

Approximately 20 feet of 24-inch blast furnace gas piping had developed active leaks, corrosion, and severe pitting. Our team repaired the leaks live and rehabilitated the affected piping with a multi-layer carbon fiber system, allowing the line to remain in service while restoring structural integrity and providing long-term reinforcement.

The Problem

Approximately 20 feet of 24-inch blast furnace gas piping with leaks, corrosion, and severe pitting that threatened the long-term integrity of the line. The pipe required rehabilitation to repair leaks, restore integrity, and provide long-term corrosion protection while minimizing disruption to operations.

The Solution

RAK Industrial Services repaired the leaks live and installed a multi-layer carbon fiber repair system allowing the system to remain in service.
