Tub Entry Fume Exhaust with FRP Rehabilitation

The Tub Entry Fume Exhaust system, a critical part of the client’s operation, had deteriorated due to ongoing exposure to corrosive fumes and demanding environmental conditions. This degradation reduced efficiency, compromised structural integrity, and introduced potential safety concerns. The client required a solution that would restore performance while keeping operations running.

The Problem

The client faced significant wear and degradation in the Tub Entry Fume Exhaust system, a critical component of their operational process. Corrosive fumes and environmental conditions had compromised the structural integrity of the fume exhaust, leading to inefficiencies and potential safety hazards. The client needed a durable and efficient solution to restore functionality without prolonged downtime.

The Solution

RAK Industrial Services proposed a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Rehabilitation for the Tub Entry Fume Exhaust. This solution was selected for its superior resistance to corrosion, lightweight properties, and long-term durability. To provide flexibility and minimize disruptions, the project could be executed either directly at the client’s plant or at RAK’s specialized facility.
